Financial problems caused the construction of the Globe. The Lord Chamberlain's Men lead by Cuthbert and Richard Burbage couldn't afford the rent of "The Theatre" so they moved to "The Curtain" but decided the best option was to build a new theatre, "The Globe". |
Problemas financieros motivaron la construcción de The Globe. La compañía Lord Chamberlain's Men de los hermanos Cuthbert y Richard Burbage no podían afrontar la subida del precio del alquiler de The Theatre, se mudaron a otro teatro The Curtain pero decidieron que la mejor opción era construir uno nuevo, The Globe.

In 1613 the theatre was burnt down, after being reconstructed it was closed by Puritans in 1642. It was reopened again in 2002. |
