  Story  
     
  When you are writing a story make sure you know whether the sentence they have given you goes at the beginning or at the end of your story, remember you are not allowed to change the story you are given in any way.

When you write a story try and include some direct speech and some indirect speech as this makes your story more interesting, remember that direct speech should be informal, the rest of your story should be more formal.

  • Make sure you use at least 5 descriptive adjectives.
  • Make sure you use at least 5 descriptive adverbs.
  • Try to use interesting vocabulary.
  • Check your story for spelling mistakes.
  • Check your story for grammar mistakes.
  • Divide your story into beginning, middle and end.
  • The story must have at least 4 paragraphs.
  • Check the verb tenses you have used carefully.
  • Many stories are written mostly in the past.
