This day is celebrated by prayer services and tributes all over
India. The main celebrations take place at Raj Ghat which is Gandhi's memorial in New Delhi. Gandhi's favourite song is usually sung : Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram. Usually no meat or alcohol are consumed on this day. |
