| When to Start with Dry Beans | ||
| Doctors recommend to introduce dry beans into the child's diet after the age of 12 months. | ||
| Initially it's better to offer them mashed up and in small quantities to avoid digestive problems. | ||
| Lentils and chick peas are hard to digest. | ||
| Once they are 18 months old you can start giving it to them whole, up to this age it is recommended only once or twice a week after the age of 2 they should eat dry beans about 2 to 3 times a week. | ||
