Calcium during Adolescence |

| Experts calculate that during the first 18 years of age 95% of the calcium deposits accumulate in their bones. | ||
| Teens between 12 and 18 years of age should consume at least 1.200 mg. of calcium (this is as much as a pregnant woman needs). | ||
| Teenagers need a varied diet to reach this goal, specially; pulses, vegetables, nuts ..., they need 3 or 4 rations of calcium a day. | ||
| A ration of calcium would be : a glass of milk, 2 yoghurts or 50-70 grams of cheese. | ||
