| The children are always on the move, and at eating time it's impossible to keep them at the table. | ||
| The main reason of this type of attitude is boredom. For children food is not a pleasurable moment, it's just simply a process which they have to go through. | ||
| To stop these moments from being monotonous we keep them entertained talking about themes that interest them like for example things about school. | ||
| Children need to be motivated, getting them involved in the food preparation is a good idea, get them to help you prepare the food, small jobs will get them involved and more interested in the food. | ||
| Make eating time a pleasent moment, avoid the telly or arguments during eating moments, give an example so the kids know that eating is an important moment in the family life. | ||
| Don't make eating time longer than necessary. | ||
