New York City is the most populated city in the USA. New York City has an important international connection as it is the headquarters of the United Nations. It's divided into 5 different boroughts : The Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island. It is often called the City that Never Sleeps as its subway works 24 hours a day. It is famous for its Big Apple, the Statue of Liberty and Wall Street. It also has some very famous landmarks like the Empire State Buildings and before their destruction the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. |
