Step 1: Find a safe location.
Find a suitable location, the horse must be perfectly still and quiet. Not on slippery surfaces.
Step 2: Unbridling the horse.
Stand close to the horse as you loop the reins over you arn and fasten the halter around the horse's neck. Unfasten the throatlatch and then gently slide the headstall over the horse's ears and head. Lower the bridly slowly so the horse can push the bit out of it's mouth. You must never pull the bit out of the horse's mouth.
