| Space the
seeds 2 cm. apart in trays or two in a cell in modules under glass
at 18 º C. Cover lightly with fine compost and gently water. Cover with glass or polythene to retain humidity. |
| What to do Next |
| Remove cover
as soon as seedling appear. Prick off tray seedling, as soon as the leaves have formed into 9 cm. pots. Thin module seedlings to 1%. Harden off plants for outdoor planting. When first truss of flowers appears transplant to growing site. Stake for suppot, remove side shoots as they appear. |

| Tips |
| When plants
are about 1,5 m. tall, remove yellowing leaves from lower part of
the plants. Shade from direct sun and water regularly. Spray plant with water in the evening to assist fruit settling. |
